I just wanted to thank you for the most spectacular charter fishing trip I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy in my entire life. First time I've ever been out of the USA but you made me feel right at home. I must admit even though you said I would catch big fish I was skeptical but you were right and I never dreamed I would actually catch a blue marlin. Me catching a blue marlin when the biggest fish I have ever caught up until that point was a 5 pound largemouth bass. The pictures I have of the fish has been the subject of quite a few fish stories between me and my fishing buddies here in Virginia. Anyway take care Captain Mark and thanks again for a great fishing trip.

WOW, what a week! My wife and I are already looking forward to next year. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the kids will head back to school with plenty of stories to tell their class mates. I was so proud to see my son crank that sailfish in that I have already shown the pictures to as many friends and family as possible. I think some are actually getting tired of my Costa Rica fishing stories. If all goes well I will have some new stories to tell next summer after my next trip. I can't wait to get back there to experience the thrill of catching a fish that is bigger than me. I knew this would be a fun vacation but I never in my wildest dreams thought it would be exciting as it actually was.

Hola Mark,

Just got back home last night, blah...it's cold (32 deg), rainy, and there are brown snow drifts. Oh well back to the grind. Thanks so much for an awesome week in an awesome place. I may have said it before but you and Juan made this trip so easy and so much fun and we do really appreciate all you have done for us down there in Port Jiminez. It was by far for all three of us the best vacation we have ever been on and by far the most fun we have ever had fishing anywhere in the world. Daily sailfish and dorado were more than enough to make this trip but the 150 and 300 lb marlin the last day were the ultimate topper for this vacation. Some guys I know go on fishing trips and regret not seeing the country from anywhere but the back of the boat while fishing. It's nice to say we don't have that regret. . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . .Your staff there were like close friends at the end of the trip (we will miss you all please thank Helen, Stephanie, Karolina, Johana, Christian, Abilio, and anyone else who had a hand in making this such a perfect vacation, most especially Juan for working so hard on the boat. So glad we were on the Bottom Line. Those twin diesels make that boat fly and the generous amount of shade, comfortable cabin, and food and beverage service was more than we expected. ( boy was that bed in the cabin sweet on the days when we got carried away with MUCHAS CERVECAS!!!! and might not have done so well without the few naps in between fish). It was just what we needed. We might have never discovered it otherwise. Thank you for going above and beyond for us. I can't wait to start planning my next trip. It will be easy (change nothing but add 1 or 2 more days fishing instead of messing around on land) If you ever need me to talk to potential customers please give them my number they don't want to miss this boat. The Bottom Line KICKED ASS... I have included the few pics I took with my camera. Expect more action shots and Bob's Marlin vids on the way this week some time. So from Bob, Reuben, and myself thank so much I can't it say enough.

"I have had the good fortune to travel to many different fishing hot spots around of the world. I have been all over Mexico from fishing in the Gulf to fishing in the Pacific from La Paz, I have fished in Key West, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and many other tropical fishing "paradises" as I call them and not one even came close to the experience I had fishing in Costa Rica. First off I have never had a Captain go so far out of his way as you did to make sure I was having a good time. Also I never expected the time spent not fishing would be so entertaining as in those little monkees that sat in the trees just over my cabin not to mention the colorful Macaws that hang around all day. I think my wife and kids already want to come back just to experience the beauty and wildlife of the rain forest again. Well, anyway Captain Mark, you have quite a nice little operation there - keep up the great work, we certainly enjoyed our vacation to the maximum and hope to return next year.

When I think of our fishing trip to Costa Rica I can't help but think about that roosterfish I caught. I am in the process of getting that picture enlarged so I can put it in my office. I just can't believe my eyes everytime I look at that picture of that crazy looking fish, I never knew fish like that even existed and I can honestly say that I never dreamed I would actually catch something like that.
